As Germany's largest online dermatologist, FORMEL SKIN offers digital solutions for the treatment of all types of skin problems — at fair prices and regardless of location and insurance status. Founded in Berlin in 2019 by Dr. med. Sarah Bechstein, Florian Semler and Anton Kononov, the company has set itself the task of counteracting structural undersupply in dermatology and thus relieving the system. The credo: Successful treatment requires quick, specific diagnoses, regular check-ins and continuity. To this end, FORMEL SKIN uses individualized treatment plans, some with prescription active ingredients such as tretinoin, azelaic acid or niacinamide, which are mixed individually for the patient, depending on the diagnosis. This “formula” is flanked by a care routine tailored to the respective skin type with moisturizer and cleansing, which can be supplemented with sun protection and exfoliation if required. Patients are guided through the entire process by qualified doctors so that the formulation can be regularly checked and adapted to the current condition of the skin. In addition, FORMEL SKIN's offer includes an online diagnosis: The patient fills out a short medical history sheet in the FORMEL SKIN app, uploads photos of the affected skin region and receives a medical diagnosis within 24 hours for a one-time fee of 12.00 euros.
