LILLYDOO "Weeks of Wonder" Pop Up

From March 14 to 16, the doors of the LILLYDOO “Weeks of Wonder” pop-up opened in Prenzlauer Berg in the middle of Berlin.
At the start, around 40 guests listened to a panel talk on the topic of “Postpartum: Expectations vs. Reality.” Moderated by midwife Sissi Rasche, Anna Adamyan, Julia Knörnschild, Janna Halbroth and Sebastian Tigges talked about their experiences in the first weeks after birth and how challenging they were despite good (midwife) support and preparation. Sissi Rasche then presented the Wochenbett Box, curated especially for the pop-up, which met with great interest from local influencers and media representatives. The first day was rounded off by the presentation of pictures of Katja Hentschel and Pauline Bossdorf, who photographed families during the postpartum period.
In the next two days, around 250 end users dived into the world of postpartum experiences and were able to experience the great products from LILLYDOO and pop-up partners Stokke, Lässig, Swing2Sleep, MyClarella and hogi and talk to brand representatives. Workshops for expectant or new parents were also held on both days, which were met with great interest.

At our “BE YOU” Press Days, large companies and young start-ups were able to network with press representatives and share product news and brand visions: On three inspiring days, we offered a place of exchange and inspiration with various topics.
Not only did different brands come together, but also a variety of media representatives. A diverse mix of participants ensured an inspiring exchange and new perspectives. Established media companies and aspiring influencers — we all found a common platform to network, share ideas and discuss future collaborations.
From exciting stands to informative lectures and workshops to culinary delights from our catering partner Hungry Catering — our Press Days were a complete success! We're already looking forward to seeing you all again at the upcoming Press Days in autumn.

Beyer & Söhne PR event for the launch of the Dayshade Lip Balm

Keep Calm and Stay Shade-y! On the occasion of the launch of the new Dayshade Lip Balm SPF 50, but also with a view to the upcoming sunscreen season, we presented the new Dayshade Lip Balm and the existing range at an exclusive PR event on March 27, 2024 and provided editors of our key media with comprehensive information about sun protection. In return, the SGC Studio has been transformed into a beach club for a day — including a candy bar with nostalgia factor, relaxed beats and chilled drinks.
The highlight of the event was the “Sun Protection Symposium” with Beyer & Söhne founder Robby Beyer and subsequent Q&A: During a moderated expert talk, Robby Beyer explained, among other things, why sun protection is essential, the benefits of the various UV filters and what distinguishes Dayshade products. The guests then had the opportunity to get to know the products better during a Mondino Spritz and stimulating discussions.

BBQ world market leader Weber's spring event

On March 14, 2024, Weber, the world's leading barbecue manufacturer, opened its doors for an exclusive and maritime spring event under the motto “It all began with a ship buoy.” Against the picturesque backdrop of the Port of Hamburg, guests were whisked away into the world of barbecuing.
The event began with a special reception at the Landungsbrücken:
In beautiful sunshine and a grilled Aperol spritz in hand (the orange slices were of course grilled aboard the barge on the new Lumin electric grill), the Weber Water Taxi took guests past the sparkling Elphi through the World Heritage Site “Speicherstadt” to the “Alte Liebe” event location in the International Maritime Museum.
Once there, guests could expect not only the latest barbecue trends of today, but also a short journey through time — an homage to Weber's roots. A special exhibition recalled the beginnings of the company and showed the constantly developing innovative strength.
The focus was on the presentation of new products: the innovative SmartControl Summit FS38X gas grill with the unique +815 °C top heat Sear Zone as well as other grill highlights such as the Mediterranean plancha, the BBQ kitchen and the electric Lumin in mint green were presented vividly and interactively by Frank Rommersbach, managing director Weber Germany, and Roberto Venturino, Weber grill master and owner of the celebrity kitchen Hamburg.
Roberto Venturino and his team then fired up the barbecues and let themselves be looked over their shoulders while preparing various culinary delights. Among other things, the guests were served reinterpreted swordfish rolls, aubergines in panko breading, Napoletana pizza or vegan oatmeal Kaiserschmarrn from hot grate.

Level up — An inspiring International Women's Day at SGC

On March 8, 2024, many great women gathered at the SGC studio in Hamburg to celebrate International Women's Day together. It was a special day for us, an opportunity to learn from each other, network and grow together.
From morning to night, the studio was filled with an atmosphere of inspiration and solidarity. The program of the day, carefully compiled from a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops, offered something valuable for every participant. Experts from various fields shared their knowledge and experience — from “Female Networking”, “Gender Health Gap” and “Financial Freedom” to “Empower HER Style” and “Sexual Empowerment.” The day ended with an after-work session, during which there was an opportunity to continue discussions in a relaxed atmosphere and make new connections.
The exchange was characterized by open and honest discussions about challenges and successes. Women of all ages and from various professional fields shared their stories and offered each other inspiration.
We at SGC are overwhelmed by the positive response and would like to thank all participants for their contributions, which made this day so special. It was an honor to gather so many inspiring women in one place and to take steps together towards an equal future.

my Control® Press Lunch "Take control of body & soul"

Trust and credibility are decisive factors in the health sector — especially when it comes to dietary supplements. For this reason, together with our customer my Control, we have® On February 29, 2024, a press event was held at Petite Tortue in Hamburg, which focused on building trust and a general introduction to the brand. Editors from our key media were invited to my Control® Get to know each other better over a non-binding press lunch and gain exclusive insights into the product world and the philosophy behind the brand. In particular, the USP of Vitality Sprays was pushed: The TinySpheres®technology. In addition to an introduction to the brand by my Control®Founder Janneke Lupp explained the technology and its effectiveness on site to Dr. Tobias Meller from TINY Technologies. A short digression on the topic of “bioavailability” underlined the relevance and functionality of the products. The importance of health prevention was the overriding motto of the event. In addition, during the event, all guests were able to have their vitamin D and cortisol levels determined at a test station and take the corresponding products home directly.

Juvéderm Talk-Event „Kill Your Darlings” x Sylvie Meis

New beauty ideals are always coming and going — now beauty trends are changing on TikTok. Women and the female body in particular are still often exposed to unrealistic expectations. Together with brand ambassador Sylvie Meis, Juvéderm invited people to rethink the topic of beauty as part of an exclusive talk event on June 3, 2023. The message: Illusory ideals and the sometimes toxic narratives of the beauty industry and society absolutely must change. Under the motto “Kill your darlings — why beauty can say goodbye to ideals”, brand ambassador Sylvie Meis spoke to three inspiring role models about social norms, the dangerous use of body trends and social media hate in beauty shaming: linguist Dr. Reyhan Şahin (“Lady Bitch Ray”), entrepreneur Claudia Effenberg and model Elena Carrière discussed print in front of numerous press representatives, Online and TV, why a new understanding and definition of beauty is urgently needed. The panel talk was accompanied by 1:1 interviews, a dynamic DJ set and a flying buffet.

Teena Period Party im SGC Studio

The first period is a reason to celebrate (and definitely no one to be ashamed of!) : On the occasion of the launch of Valley Group's Teena period tracker, we hosted a period party at SGC Studio in April 2023. Editors from the fields of health, society and wellbeing XX.
As part of a “Period Panel,” Teena founder Natalie Rechberg spoke to various experts on site about how to prepare teens for their period and why it is a real superpower and what we can learn from other cultures. Guests: gynaecologist Dr. Stephanie Eder, sex coach and author Antje Heymann and presenter and role model Collien Ulmen-Fernandes. The discussion was supported by the results of the Statista study carried out by us on the topic “How teenagers feel about menstruation”. In terms of cuisine, too, all signs were RED: In addition to the red-colored chocolate fountain and fresh fruit, there were vulva-shaped cupcakes and a red-themed candy bar.

This Place Press Lunch around the launch of the Mineral Bath

In order to introduce editors to our key media This Place as a brand and the new product The Mineral Bath (co-creation collaboration with Lanserhof), we initiated an uncomplicated personal exchange in the form of a press lunch: On June 14, 2022, we invited our top key media to a simple but stylish lunch with This Place founder Laura Simonov at the Häbel restaurant in Hamburg. The launch of the new bath salt served as a starting point: “The Mineral Bath” was presented on site and its development, ingredients and cooperation with Lanserhof was discussed first-hand. In order to experience the product with all your senses, the decoration and also the prepared menu were tailored to the ingredients of the bath product. In addition, the event provided the ideal stage to once again address the philosophy of This Place and position Laura Simonov as the face behind the brand.
Add-on: For everyone who was unable to attend the live event, we initiated a “virtual get-together” as a digital alternative the following week.

Bears with Benefits "Big Beauty Brunch" (Virtuell)

The pandemic has forced us to develop new formats to maintain XX and the exchange with our stakeholders. With success: While the world seemed to stand still, we invited Bears with Benefits to a virtual beauty brunch via Microsoft Teams in May 2021. During the video conference, we were able to introduce the participating editors to the products, but also the brand and the philosophy behind them — they were also able to get to know the Bears with Benefits founders and ask any questions about nutritional supplements that were on their mind. In advance, all participants received a goodie box with various types of Bears with Benefits, a smoothie, a “zero-secco” and informative fridge magnets in Bears with Benefits-CI. On the day of the event itself, they received a healthy brunch box delivered to their home office — a great alternative for the lunch break, which ensured particularly high attendance and was really well received. Another highlight was the “guest appearance” by testimonial Vanessa Mai, who dialed in to the appointment as a surprise guest and talked about her experiences with Bears with Benefits.
